Event Description

On July 1st we are hosting a THESIS workshop at UCL about the mission concept "THESIS", submitted to NASA, with the intention of submitting a similar proposal to ESA at the next call for proposals for medium size missions this year.

Thesis is a 1.4 m space telescope with NIR and MIR spectrographs, expected to characterise spectroscopically the atmospheres of giant and terrestrial exoplanets transiting their parent star (or with the combined light technique). Thesis can characterise also planets in the habitable zone of later type stars.
