Barcelona Workshop

Event Description

On September 30 and October 1, we will have a two day EU workshop, in Barcelona. Registration is now open, the workshop agenda will be available soon.

The location is at the headquarters of the Institute of Space Studies of Catalonia (IEEC). The address is

Institut d'Estudis Espacials de Catalunya (IEEC)
Edifici Nexus
Gran Capita, 2-4
08034 Barcelona

The venue can be easily reached by taxi from the airport (15-20 min ride and 20-25€ cost) or by public transportation from the "Zona Universitaria" metro station (L3, green line), which is a 25 min ride from the central "Plaça Catalunya" station.

We will provide coffee breaks in the morning and afternoon. Lunch will be on own and there is a large selection of restaurant options around.

Accomodation

The accommodation options are plentiful. The most convenient and inexpensive one is the researchers residence "Torre Girona". They offer basic rooms with Internet connection and buffet breakfast for some 60€. The residence is conveniently located at a 5 minute walking distance from the venue.

There are many other accommodation options in the area and also downtown Barcelona. You will find lots of possibilities in the Internet.
